2008 RR World Congress - Ireland

On the 12th August 2008 we attended the Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress in Portumna, Ireland. We were among 8 delegates from Australia with a total of 190 delegates from 27 countries around the world.
The Congress had a wide range of speakers and included topics such as the Breed Standard, Comprehensive Breed Health Survey, Functional Restoration of the Rhodesian Ridgeback and the Origin of the Ridge. There was also plenty of opportunities to meet and make new friends with fellow RR enthusiasts and breeders from around the world.
This trip was particularly special to us as we finally met Nada Nikolic from Kennel Kinyemi in Denmark where we exported Moya (Kushika Tanami Moya) in early 2005.
