At
Kushika Kennels we produce on average 1-2 litters per annum, combining quality
European, American and Australian bloodlines. We aim to produce ridgebacks that conform
closely to the breed standard resulting in dogs with correct conformation,
functionality and temperament.
Our dogs are AVA hip and elbow scored and are all below the breed average (currently 6.8).
Our puppies are lovingly reared in a home environment
and leave us fully vaccinated, wormed and veterinary checked. We spend
many hours handling and interacting with the puppies and introducing them to a
wide range of stimuli to aid them in growing up into well-adjusted ambassadors
of the breed in the wider community. All our puppies are sold with a detailed
contract designed to protect the vendor and purchaser, but most importantly the
welfare of the puppy. Most puppies are sold as loving family pets complete
with limited register pedigree papers and a desexing contract, we do occasionally have show quality
puppies available. A detailed puppy booklet is provided with each puppy
along with a well-known published book on raising and socializing your new
puppy. We stand by all our
puppies throughout their lifetime and are always available for help and advice.
