8th RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK NATIONAL

BRISBANE 2006

In June 2006 we made the 1,700km journey to Brisbane in Queensland to compete at the 8th Rhodesian Ridgeback National Specialty Show hosted by the Queensland Rhodesian Ridgeback Club.  It was the largest Rhodesian ridgeback specialty show ever held in Australia with 257 entries and we were honored when our four year old home bred bitch Kierra (Ch Kushika Desert Orchid) was awarded Best in Show by breed specialist Judge Mr. Anthony Lord Edwards from Lyonvelt Kennels in Ireland.

With the six dogs we showed we placed with 5 of them winning the following awards:
