Shaab winning BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Western Australia Chamionship Show 2010 under Breed Specialist Mr Eddie Patterson - Rocksham Kennels (Ireland)

Shaab is our resident male at Kushika and his relaxed attitude and gentle nature makes him a pleasure to live with. Slow to mature, and with many Reserve Challenges under his belt, Shaab starting gaining points towards his title in late 2006. Winning multiple Best of Breed awards from Breed Specialists along the way, Shaab gained his Australian Champion title in June 2008, and with only limited showing in recent years has amassed well over 300 points. In the winter of 2009 he completed his 20km endurance trial, actually finishing the course with a slower heart rate that his resting rate proving that Ridgebacks are not just dogs...they are machines! Now fully mature, Shaab has achieved the highest of breed awards in the Specialist and Hound rings, most notable of which was winning BEST IN SHOW at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Western Australia Specialty Show 2010 under Breed Specialist Mr Eddie Patterson (Ireland). The following day Shaab went on to win BEST OF BREED and cut to final 11 for BEST IN SHOW at the Hound Club of Western Australia 50th Anniversary Show under Mr G Hill (UK). This year has again seen Shaab in line for top honours, winning Challenge Dog and RUNNER UP OF BREED at the Royal Adelaide Show under Mrs F Sommerfield (UK).
