Vale Roedey (Ch Starridge African Dream ET(AI) 05.03.98 - 17.6.2011

On 17th June 2011 we said a very sad goodbye to our beautiful girl, Roedey at the grand old age of 13. Roedey was my first Ridgeback and my best friend. Roedey was the foundation of all things Kushika and we thank Cyndy Burton [Starridge] for entrusting us with such a special girl. Roedey was my first ridgeback and so together we had to master the showcraft technique. She proved to be a fantastic show dog and would amaze people with her willingness to please, always giving 110% in the ring. Most notable of her wins were the two Best in Groups which were back to back on consecutive weekends. She has left a lasting legacy with her beautiful progeny, National Best In Show, Best in Show and Dual Champions amongst them. Roedey, may all your days be filled with love, light and happiness at the bridge...you will always hold a very special place in my heart xx.
